Transfer Scholarships and Financial Aid
We offer the PA All Academic Team scholarship for Phi Theta Kappa students who are picked by their schools. Other scholarships are usually offered by the individual departments and colleges. For more information please check www.iup.edu/scholarships.

Transfer Application Requirements
Minimum GPA: 2.0 for most students 3.0 for education majors. Students with 32 credits or less must have a 2.75 GPA 2.5 for Nursing majors. 2.5 for Exercise Science majors. 2.5 for Dietetics majors.
Official Transcripts: Yes. We require transcripts from your high school and from all colleges/universities attended.
SAT Scores: No
Letters of Recommendation: Not required
Essay: Not required, may be requested if needed.
Application Fee: $40
Interview: No
Other Requirements: Nursing majors may only transfer in the fall semester. Nursing and Dietetics majors must have certain classes to be admitted. Please visit www.iup.edu/transfer for more information.

Application Deadlines for Transfer


Transfer Credit Policy
Minimum Grade: Grades of C- or higher will transfer. D grades from a PA Community College will be accepted as long as the student has earned an AA or AS degree. Remedial and Technical coursework will not transfer.
Credits (Min/Max): A maximum of 60 credits from a Community College may be applied to a degree program at IUP. More credit may be applied if the student is under an existing articulation agreement.
